44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

I'm sure you'll tell me that the context was different.
Yes, perception and reality ARE often quite different, BUT, Paul warned against giving the wrong impression to those who couldn't handle it in 1 Corinthians chapter 8:
9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.
...
13 Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.
I think Dr. Graham made a bad mistake, but it hardly outweighs the wonderful work he's done for Jesus.
