These words come awfully close to a threat as well as mutual defense pact. I was pooh poohed when I suggest that a Taiwanese conflict could spread beyond the South China Sea, and that it would be one of the most dangerous conflicts to the human race. Just look at the actors;China, Russia, US, Japan, Australia and other actors on either side of the conflict.
