I make a point of always providing a source - to those for whom I have respect. Liar liar pants on fire.

If it makes you happy, Toddster...I'm happy when you're accurate. Not happy yet.

The American worker is by far the worlds most productive. Japanese workers may work longer workdays, but Americans work smarter work days. What is your source?

To wax stronger, all it takes is practice. In case you did not know it, there is a verb "wax" which is the opposite to "wane".

Man, this economy just sucks! I have to work at Walgreens and clean toilets for old people...
Oh, wait! I was accidentally channeling the troll that got zotted earlier. Pardon me! ;)

American worker is by far the worlds most productive... ...What is your source?Every year or so the Economist magazine always seemed to feature one new study after another. Give me a bit and I'll do some surfing --it's good that you're keeping me honest. For anecdotal reference, virtually every overseas construction contractor I've ever met will swear by the fact that everything runs better when an American is in charge.

In case you did not know it, there is a verb "wax" which is the opposite to "wane". Yes, I knew that. In case you did not know it, their was a movie called The Karate Kid where the master taught the kid how to fight by getting him to wax his car.
You'd have to have a sense of humor to get the joke.

Man that was easy! Check out the International Comparisons of Productivity. This was a study just out (dated July 2, 2005 --it's tomorrow there).
That good enough for you?

These union lefties hate the idea of Americans being so much more productive than foreigners. It just ruins their song and dance about the "them foreigners who can do our jobs so much cheaper that we can't compete." The truth is that it's the union patsy that can't (or won't) compete. The rest of us can do just fine thank you.
To: Toddsterpatriot
You'd have to have a sense of humor to get the joke. Maybe, but it required also that the verbs wax/wane were in your dictionary when you made your statement.

"Gross Domestic Product per worker"
I see. So if a worker in USA works longer hours and takes much less vacation his "productivity" goes up. And how is the content of GDP in the compared countries different?
How are the median wages comparing to the productivity?

These union lefties hate the idea of Americans being so much more productive than foreigners. I heard someone the other day, maybe it was Rush, talking about how conservatives are optimistic and liberals are pessimistic. That's why I don't understand these "conservative" protectionists on FR. I always thought Americans had a can do spirit. These guys sound like they already surrendered, like they already lost. I have a hard time believing they're really conservative they're such whiners.

Thanks for the unneeded English lesson.
