We will have a long wait...he won't pick a justice until after July 8:

"The White House said he would not decide before returning from Europe July 8.

Bush will consult with Republican and Democratic senators about his selection, and will talk with them on the flight to Denmark next Tuesday and during his stay Wednesday through Friday at the summit of leading industrialized nations, in Gleneagles, Scotland, said presidential spokesman Scott McClellan."

July 8????? LOL that's the same day Sandy Berger gets sentenced. (He copped a plea, I don't remember what piddling punishment he will get.)

I hope Bush moves faster...he needs to.

Ah, a long weekend for liberals to sweat and conservatives to rejoice.

Bush will nominate a conservative. It's just a question of whether it will be a solid conservative or a fire-breathing conservative. I'm hoping for the latter. :-)

The Senate will confirm him/her, even if it requires the nuclear option. Graham and DeWine tasted all they wanted of anger from the Republican base after their "Save the Republic" agreement.

If I'm wrong, I'll grovel publicly.
