There is no comparison between father and son as to political gutsiness; W is tough like his mother and that's just a fact. He isn't George Jr., either. The Bush haters say so, though. They are good at saying untruths in their hatred. {{{Bush 41 had some gutsy moments, too.}}} He put Dan Rather down for the count in a live on the air interview; Rather never was the same afterward. He stuck by John Tower for Defense Sec. until he lost that vote and had to put Cheney in. He nominated, and stuck by, Clarence Thomas, until he barely passed in the Senate after the public, high-tech lynching he got on TV by Dems, the Media and Anita Hill. He was the youngest fighter pilot in the Navy in his time, - signing up at 17 after Pearl Harbor - and a decorated pilot who flew 57 missions against the Japanese and was shot down. But before going down, he delivered his bombs over the target on Chi Chi Jima. Nope, definitely not all bad, a la the Bush haters.
