Is there such a thing as a "moderate" strict constructionist? Sort of. It would have to be someone who hasn't made any controversial remarks or writings, but is known to be a constructionist by some other method-- a total unknown, basicly.

Someone who flies under the radar.....that could make sense.
Those type have been corrupted in the past, though. (Wasn't that the method tried with Souter or Kennedy?)

Any nominee will be subject to a full body cavity search. They will be scrutinized and demonized by the Left regardless.
