You can make book on it - Bush will emulate his pappy and give us a moderate, or closet liberal like Souter. He will blame Congress, blah blah blah. So far this President has been rock solid in his judicial appointments.
It might be nice if the disparagement of the Bush's was centered on the reality of their records, as well as context of other 'conservative' Presidents.
Bush's "pappy" also gave us Clarence Thomas, and Reagan gave us O'Conner and Kennedy to imbalance his gift of Scalia to the nation. Bush I was fooled on Souter by the vouching for him of John Sununu, Sr.
