BAGHDAD, June 30 (KUNA) -- The US forces discovered Thursday two weapon caches in the north Iraqi cities of Baqubah and Samarra.
A statement for the Multi-National Forces said that the 3rd Brigade Combat Team seized three improvised explosive devices, six rocket-propelled grenades, one machine gun, one sniper rifle and five AK-47 assault rifles in a weapons cache in Baqubah, Diayala province in north east Baghdad.

Hardly a cache worth getting too excited about. But one rat's nest at a time, I suppose.
That might translate into savings of innocent lives numbering between the low dozens to the high scores and a possible bonus of intel.
