Yep--yesterday was a yawner....and now, just when you thought you could catch up on the work....
From what I gather from the pundits, the fact that it was O'Connor instead of Rehnquist that retired, it will make the replacement process ESPECIALLY vitriolic because she was so often the "swing vote" in 5-4 decisions, and if Rehnquist doesn't retire, there could be MORE conservative decisions...
