10:00 a.m.: Convene and begin a period of morning business.
Previous meeting:
The Senate convened at 9:00 a.m. and adjourned at 1:04 a.m. Three record votes were taken.
Morning OX,
Thanks for the thread.
Have I ever told you that you are the only good thing in FLA,(kidding, of course there are three others).
We love you martyrs.
Thanks for the thread.
Good Morning Patriots.
You watching Washington Journal or the replay on C2?
FNC at the moment.
Will the Senators speak of this?
OH NO! Frist did not get a head's up on this yet. If it is true!
Frist just got it! Paying tribute!
Now Frist is on it.....
I have been listening to Laura Ingraham and she said that this will be all that is talked about all weekend now...
She is afraid (as am I) that Bush may go the "safe" route and pick Alberto Gonzalez....I would HATE that pick, he is too pro-choice, and anti-tough immigration policies...
I am rooting for Janice Rogers Brown!
Do you think the dems will run to the floor and start making "President Bush better ask our permission before he nominates someone" speeches before the leave for the recess...or are they all gone?
Conservative groups are saying NO to Gonzalez per Laura Ingraham!
Did the sun rise this morning?
I don't think he will pick either of them, my wild guess is Thomas Moyer CJ of the Ohio Supreme Court. Just a gut reactiion, I will most likely be dead wrong!
I would like to see, just for the sake of shock, Kenn Starr, Miguel Estrada! LOL But I am rotten like that!
Drink everytime They infer or state that President Bush must consult the Dimrats!
Buckets Voinovich up about Bolton. I find this quite interesting, does he fear a recess appointment?
Did anyone else hear Voinobitch say "we have to do a better message to get our job out"? I heard that plain as day, cannot believe what a jerk he is.
