You're right. It's more a cultural problem rather than a religious one. Honor killings happen among Christians in the middle east as well.

The Habash girl was Christian, the Shakirat girl was muslime. Helps to read the whole article. The whole concept of "honor killings" is a sham meant to hide the failure of the males (I refuse to call them "men," since they have no manhood) to behave in an appropriate manner. A muslime or Arab male screws up, he kills a woman. He wants to rape his sister, sure, why not? Just kill her for having sex outside of marriage! Wife complains about being beaten? Kill her for being "unfaithful."

The whole Arab "culture" is sick, retrograde and barbaric. And folks......

That culture is what the left in this country is adhering to.
