Hello,
Yes it is usually a death sentence. My best friend was diagnosed with it in late Dec. of 1999. She died in March of 2000. She had just turned 36 years old.
I miss her more than I can say, and wish that she had not had to endure the hell that she did. Prayers to all that must face such a horrible and painful time.
