Couldn't resist, could you?
I have very CAREFULLY not dissed FR.
Only one or two select individuals.
And YOU remain My Favorite Poster.
When I want to hear from YOU, yellowdog, I'll rattle your chain.

The man is likely dying, since pancreatic cancer usually doesn't have a good prognosis That would be relevant if we were talking about someone who actually *has* pancreatic cancer.

Keep telling yourself that....that website is ONLY set up to dis FR....when you post there, you become one.
I hear I should be flattered by all your attention....but I find it kinda weird that you are so obsessed with what I say.
Now, head on back over to CP....your posse is waiting.

I'm saying that the writer presented no evidence of such, aside from the say-so of the man's own nurse practitioner.

I have been reading about this story and there are real questions about whether this guy had pancreatic cancer and exactly what his story is. It would be real easy for Andy to prove he had pancreatic cancer but he refuses to do so.

But, based on the aforementioned concerns, I need to know why we were allowed to yell 'pancreatic cancer' and 'Whipple' and 'impending death' from the rooftops for weeks. They should be worried about bigger things, like why they were allowed to yell "Bush stole the 2000 election" for five years running, now... or "Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11", which we're easily into three years' worth.

You gotta keep up better. Your link is over 1-1/2 months old to the DUFU's. Ask PJ to be on his ping list, so you can get updates, if you can't find the new info.

Free Republic (www.freerepublic.com), that has an ongoing flame war with Democratic Underground. All right, fess up... who gave those yahoos fire?
One could hardly consider the "relationship" (such as exists) between DU and FR to be a "war"... We aren't in the habit of fighting a basically unarmed opponent...

I wonder if any of this experience makes the liberals feel differently about their socialized medicine plans. It certainly seems like Andy Stephenson wanted the best care that money could buy, not what the government would provide for him via Medicaid. And there's the fact that, with his $70K inheritance, he could have paid up front for the treatment himself.
As for the posters noting the seriousness of pancreatic cancer, that certainly seems to be true. I think the amazing progress Mr. Stephenson has made, despite the claims that he has pancreatic cancer, has roused the suspicions of many people. Maybe he's that one in a million miracle recovery, but it does seem to raise some red flags.

Exactly! We're not in the habit of picking on mental midgets either. Most at DU can't even carry on a conversation without every four letter word in the dictionary. Facts mean very little to them!

Tough luck/no sarcasm intended. That type of cancer is usally terminal.Normally i wouldn't give this guy the time of day,but it does sound as though he has cancer and needs help.In that case what's the harm in soliciting and accepting donations?BTW,He better expect an audit.Keep those receipts:)

Hello,
Yes it is usually a death sentence. My best friend was diagnosed with it in late Dec. of 1999. She died in March of 2000. She had just turned 36 years old.
I miss her more than I can say, and wish that she had not had to endure the hell that she did. Prayers to all that must face such a horrible and painful time.
Glad to be here, wish she was too, MOgirl

"In this thread on DU Andy says he has $250,000 in equity in his home"
On another thread around the same time, he states that he is investing in gold and also receiving an inheritance of $70,000.Sounds like he passed GO and collected his $200 also.

Sad thing for anyone but pancreatic cancer usually is a death sentenceAbsolutely, and if true, this would be unfortunate for anyone. But if he's such a scam and con artist, and had a mind to fake a disease like cancer, wouldn't he pick one of the more dire kinds? I'm just sayin'

No one here said that they hoped he died. That LIE alone makes this article very doubtful. It is full of holes at best but sounds as though this writer is not up to speed here and is just covering for a leftist twit.
The first notice of this every person here who expressed an opinion expressed their hope that he get well. When the evidence of fraud began to emerge the skepticism grew astronomically but generally we were of the opinion that we were glad he was taking the DUmmies' money so they would have as much to cause trouble with.
