If we are nuked first, then it will be time to clean out the arsenals and scorch the earth wherever it needs scorching
What a dilemma. I've been up half the night thinking about this and still haven't concluded anything.
But I think we would nuke any country that supports terrorism if we were nuked. Like Bush said, 'if you're not with us, you are against us,' or words to that effect. The public would demand it. If the muzzie countries knew and believed this would happen, indiscriminately, they would be busting a$$ to make sure it didn't happen.
On the other hand, I don't think they are all that civilized or care about the human race including themselves. Just look at the crap they have to put up with under the demands of Islam. Maybe that's what they are trying to escape from and what motivates them deep down.
As the months on this terrorism crap winds down, it would make no difference who struck first, for half the world would be unliveable. I would hope the muzzies would not want to go that way.
Re: Japan. They didn't have the capability to strike back and were quick to recognize their error. The muzzies don't have the brains to recognize error, so all the more reason to eliminate their capabilities -- whatever it took.
Let me extend that. If we knew without a doubt that they had the weaponry and delivery system, the rules would change quickly. If they could believe that we would not pre-empt, there would be no reason for them build the weapons.
If they go forward with their nuke program, that would change the equation the moment we found out about it. If we already know for sure they are building weapons, now is the time to take them out. Not tomorrow.
We had M.A.D. with Russia and it worked. But then, the Russians were civilized and they at least valued their own lives.
So you have a valid point. Take 'em out now if they even talk about building nukes.
But back to Square One again. Where do we start? Egypt? Iran? Regardless of where, you know the whole region is going to be barren of everything for a long time.
And the world will be changed overnight, for better or worse.
