Contraband, of any type, is the fuel of organized crime. Legalize drugs and the criminals will go broke. Legalization would save thousands of people who might otherwise be murdered over the drug trade, and prevent many lesser crimes.

Makes sense if the WOD was actually about stopping crime and saving lives.

I totally agree with you. It is so very sad that so many people have died because of the illegality of drugs and the black market it produces. What is even more sad is that so many more people will have to die before we come to our senses and at the very least decriminalize drug use. I have never taken drugs, and I never will--to me the costs to life and liberty are simply too great to keep people from being stupid.
