I'll post a link to the video. Decide for yourself if he meant it.

"Conscientious objection removes a given piece of the cannon fodder from the fray," he said. "Fragging an officer has a much more impactful effect."From a purely logical standpoint, the statement is absolutely accurate.

whats amazing is it will take over two years to Fire him...this tenure crap has to end...and government rules of employment have to get more private...like being able to fire him....its amazing that people defend him....he is ruining the university

A soldier is much more than cannon fodder. A soldier who is a volunteer, is a person with ideals and a sense of purpose which reveals itself through the pulling of a trigger.

At this point, I'm starting to think that Churchill pleasures himself while thumbing through his extensive collection of photos of Eichmann.

When one of the forum's attendees said that the impact such a fragging might have on the officer's family should be considered, Churchill replied, "How do you feel about Adolf Eichmann's family?"
I wonder why the focus isn't on this. He's clearly intimating that our officers are Eichmanns.

Two thoughts:
1. Why is he obsessed with Eichmann?
2. So telling people to think about fragging an officer is much more acceptable than telling them to do it?

He be toast....soon... I doubt CU is ever going to fire him. If they were serious hey would of done it already. What I can figure the CU Committee is just stalling and hoping that everyone would forget about it. I don't believe Lib Intellectuals are willing to sacrifice their own. Especially if it someone that make themselves look sane.

Incorrect. An individual soldier can and often does deliver an impact on the battlefield which surpasses his own officer in effectiveness.
Additionally, the US Army has a flexible command structure - if an officer is incapacitated, chaos will rarely result.
There is a clear chain of command and every unit has multiple potential leaders.
Churchill's comment is neither logical nor even very good English.

He be toast....soon... I sincerely hope so, but one member of the CU's Board of Regents said it could take another two years. And, he could retire before then anyway.
To: sydbas
And CU wants to raise tuition by 20% next year. LOL! Good luck, silly Boulderites!

Here is man openly advocating soldiers murdering their officers.... in a time of war. If that's not treason and sedition I don't know what is.

Colorado University deserves this guy. He's been on their payroll for years. Spewing hatred.
Between their alcohol deaths, their sports scandals, and this miscreant the school just hangs tough and earns the disgust of honorable patriotic citizens.

I don't know about that. Soldiers are almost never directly led by officers, instead they are led by their NCOs who get the mission plan of their officers. Not having an officer around may have some effect, but not much. The senior NCOs will step up, take charge, and just wait until another officer is brought in for their marching orders.

I don't think that there is any branch of the US service that *doesn't* have a flexible command structure at this point. One of the lessons learned from WW2, Korea, and Vietnam.
Even if the enemy manages to kill the CO of a unit in battle or through skullduggery, unit effectiveness is hardly impaired with the structure we have today.
