"Actually, Annan has been somewhat supportive of the Iraq efforts lately. Maybe he did it to set us up for the request for Haiti."
Supportive? Kofi makes vague remarks about conditions improving in Iraq without mentioning that it is the US, whose actions he opposed, who are responsible for the improvement. This is worse than the UN taking credit for our Tsunami relief.

Screw the U.N. and Haiti...
Haiti was a FRENCH Colony...
The FRENCH screwed it up..
Let the FRENCH spend, lead and bleed to help those sorry bastards...
We've been there, done that --- to NO avail.

Actually, Annan has been somewhat supportive of the Iraq efforts lately I missed that. Is a U.N. office open in Iraq now?
Are you talking about vocal support from UN Headquarters?

With 6,500 Blue Helmets there now, why do they need us? 'Cause nobody, but NOBODY, is scared of pastel blue helmets!

You stole the words out of my mouth.
When they had Marines there and a bunch of thugs passing themselves off as cops tried to shakdown a mission the Marines did what Marines do. Eight dead gangsters later and the all sorts of rage and protests came from the UN and OAS.
Seems like fighting men who fight are handy when you're in a tough spot.

With 6,500 Blue Helmets there now, why do they need us? OK, you're kidding. Right?

'd tell Mr. Anan what he can do with his request. Port-au-Prince is one of my suggestions for the new home of the UN.
To: television is just wrong
Relocate the UN to Haiti. They deserve each other

That was the last (and only) time the UN actually did something worthwhile No so coincidently, the USSR walked out of the Security Council meeting before the vote to intervene in
Korea came up.
I don't think they missed a vote after that.

Because it would require the entire French army and they are all on leave.

"Annan told Rice that the Haitians "respect the U.S. military," That must have come as a shock to Annan -- the crazy, corrupt bastard...
Too bad our DEMOCRATS don't have equal respect and the good judgment to stop acting like anti-American Jihadists...
I NEVER thought the day would ever come, when I thought there was a distinct possibility that Americans may have to take up arms again against the Federal Government...
That sad day is not impossible....judging from the incidents of the past several months...
