Think it is where the old airport used to be.

Just east of Denver, closer to town than Denver International Airport.

Buckley is in Aurora, Colorado, a suburb on the east and south side of the metro area.

Lowry has been shut down. Buckley is the home of the Colorado Air National Guard. I'm guessing that was a Guard jet.

It is on the eastern outskirts of Aurora, CO, a suburb to the east of Denver. This worries me. I was stationed at a Marine radar site at the end of the runway most often used by the F18s. I recall a couple close calls we had when a bird came in under emergency conditions. I hope my old unit didn't just get pickled.
