undocumenteds.

Huh?
Those are called "illegal aliens"! They are law breakers, not diplomats without portfolio.
Bush is an admitted, avowed non-reader, so how would he be knowledgable of history?

That is a lie perpetrated by the propaganda wing of the Rat party, i.e., the MSN.
not mentioned here is that they have family in San Diego.
I dont see where these guys are linked to the insurgency in IRaq in the story
""We just had one hezbolla member sentenced here in Michigan a couple of weeks ago. He paid for a Mexican passport in Lebanon or Syria and came across the border.""
So if he had a Mexican passport, then he wasnt planning to sneak into teh country accross the border....i support troops on the border, but it wouldnt stop guys like this who come thru LAX or JFK legally, then just disappear
"""Now if, God forbid, an attack occurs before '08, and it's proven that the attackers came over the Mexican border, the next republican candidate for POTUS is dead in the water. GWB is setting the repubilcans up for a huge failure.<<<<""
Not necessairly, for the first time in over 50 years we are going to have an election in which neither candidate has any conenction to the incumbent administration
"""Poverty, mismanagement in mexico couples with a sealed border to the south is a sure recipe for war in that country"""
Unfortunately you are right and so many here seem to think seal the border presto problem solved.
I support stronger border enforcement but there needs to be an economic growth program for Mexico and politcal reforms there. How come India and China can have 8-10% GDP growth, while MExico is lucky to get 2% GDP growth?
If Mexico had even 6% annual GDP growth, there would be little illegal immigrant problem.
"""The local news is making them out to be Iraqi Christians trying to get to San Diego.""
You mean you have proof that they arent?
President Bush has certainly made a few mistakes. In my view, he should have taken care of border issues a long time ago.....but, HE IS NOT A DAMN TRAITOR!
That's exactly right, atlanta67. But that growth would have to reach all the way down to the wallets of the most dis-advantaged and oppressed Mexican and give them a sense of pride and ownership in their country.
I think the bribery system is a blight on the skin of Mexico -- and the drug cartel is a blight on its soul.
Islamist terorists might be found in Iraq, in mexico, or in the USA.
Get the terms right before you report the obvious.
