I currently live in St. Louis, and this story was afforded all of 20 seconds worth of shallow reporting by the local affiliates here. I was amused to note that in the two reports I caught last night and this morning, the convicted's party affiliation was NEVER mentioned.

Not once was the phrase "democrat party" uttered by either reporter or the anchors.

You know... I can't possibly come up with the words to express how deeply, terribly that doesn't surprise me, after having spent twenty years subjected to the bizarrely far leftist St. Louis mass media, myself.

I already know the answer, of course, before I've even asked it... but, just so I can tell myself I did, in fact, ask, rather than leaping to an assumption: it's not even being touched by KMOX radio, is it...? :)
