Highly doubtful.
The MSM is all up on this one because of the history of the area that they were in. But if the one guy hadn't spoken up and admitted they were there to steal a car, they would have come across as being more sympathetic characters. Either way, they are not the sharpest tools in the shed for picking that area to steal a car. Maybe these young men have learned their lesson.
