Well, she was a lawyer for the ACLU. I believe she was in their 'upper management' or possibly was in charge of one district, if I am not mistaken.
Ginsburger is the perfect example of what can happen when the spineless, cowardly Republican Senators do not stand up and fight. Klinton appointed her, there was no dissent from the Republicans and I believe she was approved something like 99-0.

PLEDGED!

Just think, if ever conservative American sent him one dollar, so that he could buy up ever justice's property and throw them out.
Hahahaha .... one of those "so, are we going to hurt each other" tactics?
I just love this idea ... perfect!
BUMP!!
Unfortunately, if you do the same to ALL of them, they must ALL recuse themselves from the case, and by precedent already set by Kelo vs. New London, we would not have a reversal of the Kelo decision. Yes, they would lose their homes, but we would still be shorted our property rights since no new precedent would be set to correct the injustice already done.
Payback is a bitch, Davey-boy.
We should support this effort and, when the justices are removed from their dwellings and move to another location, we should begin the process again at their new abode... until they -- in emergency session before October -- gather to re-decide this ruling of theirs. Then... maybe then... they'll get the message. In the meantime, a chain of Liberty Hotels sounds damn fine.
Not long ago, many in this forum cheered on as the Oklahoma legislature violated private property rights by passing into law a bill which prohibited employers from banning firearms in their company parking lots. This law is a clear violation of the property rights of the owners of those companies.
The Government cares very little whose property rights they violate, and by cheering on the violation of the property rights of others, we give tacit support to those we call oppressive.
Beauseant!
I told my father this morning and he is willing to kick in $100.
Really? how many conservatives would be willing to kick in $100.00 dollars to fight back legally?
$100.00 is beer money for some of you guys! :-)
Or you can keep your beer and drink it under a bridge.
Oh... I just LOVE This! I hope it's true.
No matter what the outcome, I hope that this legal assault by Clements ends up costing that scumbag Souter lots and lots of money. I hope this drags out in court for a decade and gives Souter a throbbing, puke-inducing migraine that never, ever stops.
Dig it.
Actually, and I could be wrong, someone feel free to correct me if so, but I believe we actually had 2 0r 3 Repub senators with enough ba@@s to vote no on her confirmation.

Me too. So contact the fellow and suggest a Partnership and advertise the partnerships on Free Republic. Surely there are enough of us to put up a bit of cash. This indeed is a very good cause. I'll bet that town could use the tax increase a 'better' use of the land would provide.
Again, the same must be done to ALL of the Justices
AND some senators and reps. I'll bet MANY of them own some prime real estate that is not being used to the best 'tas' advantage for their respective communities.
