Isn't there FBI techniques that can forensically prove if two photos are of the same person or not?

I have heard of it used when a perp tries to disguise himself during a holdup. They measure things like the distance between eyes, shape of cheekbone, etc.

I am not sure either, but it does damn well look like him.
