Is there any bottom wage to you? Or, should there be competition to the point that people are basically working for nothing?

Depends on who you ask. I guess I should say "cheap labor", not "slave labor".

Here's a story that should make you feel tingly all over:

Under H-2A, shepherds are legally bound to one employer, and pay is relatively low -- in Colorado $700 a month, well below the minimum wage.

Ok, FR Navy vets..riddle me this

Just how many Harpoons will it take to send this parade float to the bottom of the sea?

I expect that if we ever get into a shooting war over Taiwan, that ship will be the first one on the USN target list.
