A Houston-area woman reported missing from a Carnival cruise ship was not the victim of foul play or an accidental fall I guess that means they think she either committed suicide or is still on the ship, either alive or dead. Since I would presume the ship has been thoroughly searched, they must think she jumped. Nasty way to go.

(She was) not the victim of foul play or an accidental fall... Then that means she left of her own accord, one way or another. Right?

No foul play or accidents, meaning it was fair play (whatever that means) or intentional (suicide).

"I can't really go into detail out of respect for the family, but our feeling is that it was not an accident." Not foul play or an accident....Hmmmmm wonder what else it could have been.
Out of respect for the family they rule out everything but suicide /eyeroll

How do you possibly rule out "accidental fall"?
