If a general deserves to dissed, it should be done. Clark went rapidly up the line during the Clinton administration, especially after he provided military hardware (tanks, armored vehicles, helicopters) during the Branch Davidian siege at Waco, TX, in 1993. Retired AF General McPeak disgraced himself by supporting Kerry and dissing George W in 2004.

I happen to know that there are officers who are simply a disgrace to their oaths, uniforms, subordinates, and the country. Of course I am speaking out of school. (Shades of William Tyndale!)

I have watched Clark during the last few years, and he seems to me to be one who has been flying under the radar for a long while until recent years.

I do not think highly of the man, but I cannot simply discredit his accomplishments simply because I disagree with him so much.

I can however disagree with him, as I do and consider him to be an ass.
