Precisely. Endorsing the book seems to me to guarantee a backlash, and a spotlight on the tawdry nonsense in the book would only serve to supress or drive into the background a true analysis of the political issues.
Tawdry is Hillary and Bill Clinton's lifestyles, habits, fights, infidelities, cussing like sailors, throwing lamps and trashing hotel rooms, lying and cheating, harrassing anyone who gets on their hit list.
The lists of suspicious deaths surrounding Hill and Bill lend to their tawdry affairs.
Tawdry is a good word. That the Ed Klein book smells of tawdry is no wonder.
Have you read the book? I have.
Just as an example, it does not say anywhere that she definitely engaged in lesbian sex, it just lays out the people she associated with, anong with her own statements, and what the prevailing sentiments were at a given time in her history by people who knew her, such as: "It was thought by many that xxxxx was her lesbian lover."
That is not exactly news.
Actually, having used my hard earned money to purchase two other books from sources that seem nearly impeachable ('Unlimited Access', Gary Aldrich and 'Dereliction of Duty' by Lt Col 'Buzz' Patterson) this book was remarkably in line with those other two. Nothing unusual there. Eveything in Alrich's book was subsequently verified (the damage to security protocols at the White House were well documented) and Lt Col Patterson, wh carried the "nuclear football" had no reason to lie unless he really WAS upset when, upon meeting her, Bill Clinton eyed his wife as if he were in a singles bar.
