I was thinking about something different.

These guys go for the spectacular, like cooking up/bringing in something for NY city subways, and a host of other nightmarish scenarios.

Federal agents arrested the pair, along with two accused Mexican people smugglers and a youngster on Tuesday in the Paso de Aguila district of Tecate, 30 miles (50 kilometers) east of Tijuana on the westernmost stretch of the Mexico-U.S. border.

Brownsville is on the Easternmost stretch of the Mexican Border, Conservative!

OTMs hailing from Arab/Islamic countries are caught attempting to cross the border illegally in large numbers every single year, so the only thing that's surprising is that FOX News found this newsworthy.

Samir and Munir Yousif Shana told investigators they were contacted by a person in their hometown of Baghdad, who said he could smuggle them into San Diego, where members of their family already live, according to a statement from the federal attorney general's office.

Maybe they were going the other way -- fleeing the oppression in the U.S. Maybe not.

Mexican Authorities Detain Two Iraqis Near U.S. Border on Immigration Charges

The Associated Press

MEXICO CITY (AP) - Mexican agents in the border city of Tecate captured two Iraqis who had hoped to sneak into U.S. territory without proper documentation, federal authorities said Wednesday.

Samir and Munir Yousif Shana told investigators they were contacted by a person in their hometown of Baghdad, who said he could smuggle them into San Diego, where members of their family already live, according to a statement from the federal attorney general's office.

Federal agents arrested the pair, along with two accused Mexican people smugglers and a youngster on Tuesday in the Paso de Aguila district of Tecate, 30 miles (50 kilometers) east of Tijuana on the westernmost stretch of the Mexico-U.S. border.

Many undocumented Iraqi nationals have been captured in Mexican territory en route to the U.S. border. None have had any links to terrorism.

A spokesman for the attorney general's office said Wednesday that both Yousif Shanas were facing "absolutely nothing more than charges of being unable to prove they were in Mexican territory legally."

The Iraqis said they met the accused smugglers in Tijuana, then accompanied them by bus to Tecate. The group was walking toward the U.S.-Mexico line at the time of the arrests, the statement said.

Will Vicente Fox want more money from the US to patrol his side of the border?

If that isn't a wake up call for the borders, nothing is.

And this seems to prove, that Mexican nationals were actually aiding them.

Check please!

How exactly is International Islamic Terrorism served through an attack on an obscure Federal Building in what is an (internationally) obscure and out of the way part of the country that's blamed on someone else?

Mind you, the population of people that believe the above are the exact same people that unquestioningly accept the claims and threats of the Amerithax letters at face value.

Just a bit of a dichotomy there.

What a coincidence that their relatives live in a huge military town.
