I agree that it is an outrage. But I don't think any of this is new news. I have known for a long time that the survey was conducted and that it was terminated when the Administration didn't like the results and that the Border Patrol was ordered not to talk about it and to cover up the results. As I recall, the 45% figure was also widely cited at the time.

Perhaps the only news here is firm confirmation that there was indeed an attempt at a cover-up.

I agree with you. I think those jumping the border just felt they had an "OK" from the president. Not that it would have mattered.
