I thought it was interesting reading a version of the account from a Russian FReeper. As to reporting, well, a Russian once said that the difference between Pravda and NBCCBSABCCNN etc was that Russians knew Pravda was B.S.

Good point. It was an interesting story and if true, gives a lot of credence to their claim that the KAL planes were more than simply lost. Think we'll ever know what really happened?
