This excerpt, from MSNBC, doesn't get anywhere near the meat of the book - where Fuhrman shows how Michael's inconstent statements, and the timeline of the morning that Terri collapsed, raise a lot of questions - and suspicions. Read the book.

I admit, I'm guilty of doing such on breastfeeding threads. :) nyuk nyuk nyuk
My position was stated explicitly: I thought her parents should have been granted guardianship. Some of the very same posters on this thread called me a death cultist.
My eyebrow went up when you swooped in with your declaration about what some posters say here and said on other topics. That is really part of the problem, making this about personalities instead of facts.
We all have our weaknesses. ;~D
There you go (I'll guess again).
Nobody said she was one hell of a woman they wanted their kids to emulate.
Did they.
Yet you feel the need to make things up in order to grant yourself some sanction to bash unmercifully.
Whatever floats your boat, but decent people will be repelled and say so.
"making this about personalities instead of facts."
Facts are boring and don't generate print sales or google searches. Personalities that accompany good looking faces and figures - that's what sells.
"Cheap fabric and dim lighting. That's how you move merchandise"
Morty Seinfield.
Swooped in? Thought this was a public forum that anyone could add their 2 cents.
I never called you a death cultist and on the few Shiavo threads I've been on, I was also implicit on where I stood.
You and I agree on this subject. Why the anger towards me?
But we still need to point out irrational, fanatical, or hypocritical comments when we see them, no matter what the topic. Hopefully it keeps the lurkers from thinking we're all like that:o}
I repel decent people all the time, especially when I go to the mall after mowing in 100 degree heat and not take a shower.
You might think about getting some help with all that anger, hate and hostility you have built up inside and directing toward someone you don't know and have never had contact with.
"But we still need to point out irrational, fanatical, or hypocritical comments when we see them"
I like giving my 2 cents worth but I don't think I've been irrational, fanatical or hypocritical, at least in the last hour or so.
It is. Your implication that I stated otherwise is false.
I never called you a death cultist
Again, I didn't say you did.
My anger was with your broad brush about what "some posters" had to say here and on another topic and falsely mischaracterizing people as wanting to "pull the plug".
I also do not subscribe to the characterization of those who supported removal of the feeding tube as "murderers", so even if some of the posters you referenced supported it (I know for a fact some did not), your generalization was unwarranted.
Making up silly stories about talking points and intimidation is disingenuous, if not immature. I don't know anyone who has said "it was ok to kill Terri," least of all me, so please don't try to misrepresent my position. That also would be disingenuous.
"Facts are boring and don't generate print sales or google searches. Personalities that accompany good looking faces and figures - that's what sells."
Good point. :)
Oh, please. I don't hate, I'm not angry and I'm not hostile. I do assess and opine. You might take a look at your choice of adjectives and such in previous posts and take your own advice, though.
While I totally believe this to be true, how come the judges if Florida don't seem to care?
Both of you take this outside right this minute! (And take plenty of pics and video because that's what we want to see)
In dumping a loser and telling the truth? I sure do hope mine emulate that. cyncooper said that saying she did one thing right doesn't make her a saint. You have a problem with that? What about Rahab in the Bible? She was a prostitute who was spared over all the other 'nice' people because she aided and the spies in Jericho?
Boy... do you have a problem or what? No one said Frey was perfect. But she told the truth when she could have run and hid. Let her make her money, she had very little before, for cryin out loud. It's no skin off your nose.
I just started reading it and one thing he has said is he found NO ONE that likes Michael-NO ONE! He has threatened people involved and had some of the nurses fired for siding if you will with Terri and her family.
Terri was trying to get up the nerve to get a divorce. If she had had a few more days or weeks with the monster, she'd have done it, too.
Then from your post #195:
maybe she wanted to try and save her marriage.
(I left out the unwarranted snide remarks in #195)
So, which was it? Was she on track to getting a divorce within a matter of days of her collapse or did she want to save her marriage?
