-- yes, on a great many issues he IS the best president in years. But we "PICK PICK PICK" because he is dangerously in the wrong on one issue which is sure to destroy the nation if uncorrected. If the illegal alien wave is not stopped, there is NO POINT in "winning" the war on terror, or reforming social security, or anything else.

If I may make an analogy: suppose you married the "perfect man" except for one fatal flaw. He works hard and makes a good living for the family; he's a great romantic to you and a great dad to the kids; he's a pillar of the community and church; he's handsome and smart... etc, etc... however, he has one fatal flaw: he's secretly gay , "on the downlow" so to speak, and sooner or later he's going to bring AIDS home. Wouldn't that one fatal flaw outweigh all the good qualities? Wouldn't you demand that he cease and desist those activities, and "pick pick pick" ceaselessly, or just divorce/impeach him, rather than tolerate it?

Perhaps this analogy doesn't make any sense to you whatsoever. But if you lived here, it would make PERFECT sense.

Regarding the border, I CAN do a lot better than Bush. But that's not saying much, as he could hardly get it more wrong if he deliberately tried.

I concur. I've lived in So. Cal. the past 46 years. It's fast becoming annexed by Mexico's (as is the rest of the country) unwanted. The State is foundering as our quality of life, education, social services and infrastructure collapes! California sets the trend for the Nation. You all get ready...it's coming your way!
