May he finally meet Grant, Lee Lincoln, Davis, Bedford Forrest and all the others and rest in peace.

I remember seeing him say that one of his greatest moments was having the opportunity to hold and wave Nathan Bedford Forrest's sword.

My Great Grandfather, A.P. Bradley was a corporal in Forrest's 12th Mississippi Cavalry. So I always enjoyed Foote's Forrest stories.
