It's been about a week already. Still waiting for a republican reaction to this......

Tree of Liberty answered this in another thread: The solicitor general, the President's representative before SCOTUS, argued in favor of the city.

In other words, the administration, and therefore the Republican National Committee, support the decision.

AFAIK, this is not the case. City of New London was represented by a private law firm from Hartford and the Bush Administration filed no brief. Do you have references to the contrary?
