Diana, Princess of Wales, took cocaine and was worried it would kill her, according to new claims today.
Friend and confidante Simone Simmons makes the claim in her controversial book Diana: The Last Word, in which she also alleges the Princess had a relationship with John F Kennedy Jr.
In the book, serialised in The Sun, Ms Simmons insists that Diana told her a boyfriend, who was a habitual user, once urged her to try the drug.
She said the experience was so frightening for the Princess that she vowed not to use it again and help addicts.
The 49-year-old said: Diana just said he offered it to her and she asked, What do you do? and he told her.
It made her feel so ill. It made her feel sick, dizzy and breathless. She felt she was going to have a heart attack and die when she tried cocaine.
Ms Simmons, an alternative therapist, claims Diana had been trying to wean Dodi Fayed off cocaine in the weeks before their deaths in a Paris car crash.
She describes their relationship as platonic, adding that the Princess was always trying to help the lame ducks who came her way.
Ms Simmons also claims that Diana never called her former butler Paul Burrell her rock.
She claims: Her rock was her dad. She did call Burrell Psychic Paul, with a hint of sarcasm.
Yesterday, Burrell dismissed Ms Simmons book as a fantastical story of nonsense in much the same vein as the mystical rubbish she used to feed the Princess.
Oh yeah, they're the ones who get arrested.
Even in death, full of endless surprises.
Cocaine kills three brain cells with every use. That would have used up half of Divorced, Drunk Floozie's total.
Assuming that you can believe what an "alternative therapist" says.
And interesting point no one brings up. She died in the presence of a Muslim. Not that is either here or there.
A bad choice of company coupled with a bad driver. No conpiracy here.
Why is that an interesting point? (Assuming it is even true.)
Oh can we please have an end to trivial "news" about this trite and meaningless woman. Diana was utterly insignificant. Why do people continue to have such an obsessive regard for her?
Money?
Because it's a British tradition to rag on their royalty.
Why don't they let the Enquirer etc handle these stories.
So, what's the Diana/Hillary connection?
I don't know of any except the timing of the stories.
This is nothing short of despicable.
It appears that Diana is more interesting DEAD than others are who are living?
