both were distorted by tv.
high school students all over the southland were given class time off to protest 187. this meant marches with mexican flags, large banners, all covered by the media.
in san diego county, the mexican students burned an american flag. a white guy ran to save the flag, and he was beaten by a large group of mexicans while the san diego sheriffs watched.

Ken: The Republican Party wants more Americans of Hispanic ethnicity, not Mexicans. Mexicans are from Mexico.
