Heck no. They make up the rules as they go.
If they were Roman Catholics, they would be under the same rules as us all, and all under the fidelity of the Magisterium.
They are as Catholic as my Uncle, and he's atheist.
The American Catholic Church is made up in part of former nuns and priests from the Roman Catholic Church. Once a Roman Catholic priest you are one forever. You just are not performing any marriages with the Roman Catholic Church's blessings. Confusion abounds with this issue.
Your use of the word Catholics is a bit off here.
THESE ARE NOT Catholics as part of The Universal Church.
These are heretics that disavow the words of the Bible, IMHO.
