Per Fox News...
Not much of a surprise after the recent events...
At least he's saving the taxpayer some money. Now if they could put him out of our misery and be over with him.
hopefully he will get the toughest sentence possible.
The good news is that the prosecution can still present some of the evidence in the case.
BTK Suspect Pleads Guilty
Rader Charged With Killing 10 PeopleWICHITA, Kan. -- BTK suspect Dennis Rader pleaded guilty Monday to 10 counts of first-degree murder, admitting to a series of slayings that terrorized the city beginning in the 1970s.
Rader, 60, of Park City, entered the guilty pleas as his trial was scheduled to begin Monday.
Prosecutors had said before the hearing that no plea deal made.
Rader admitted killing 10 people in the Wichita area between 1974 and 1991. The serial killer known as BTK -- the self-coined nickname that stands for "Bind, Torture, Kill" -- taunted media and police with cryptic messages that became increasingly frequent in the months before Rader's arrest on Feb. 25.
No sentencing date was immediately set. Rader will not face the death penalty because the crimes were committed before the state adopted a new capital punishment law.

It's amazing, the contrast between how we perceive these criminals before and after they're caught. At large, they appear to us as all-powerful and ferocious; yet once their identity becomes known we're surprised at just how pathetically weak and banal they actually are.
This is just spine-chilling. I'm watching it on CourtTV. He's describing everything in detail about the Otero murders.
You may want to put something in the title that indicates it's being carried live on CourtTV?
This...is perhaps the most amazing live tv I've ever seen.
He is describing these murders in the most casual and un-emotional way...he is calling them "projects"...
The judge is asking him to describe each murder in detail. They're on the 2nd one now, Kathryn Bright.
You're not kidding! He keeps on describing them like he's talking about animals... "I put her down"... "I thought he was down at that time..."
This is truly beyond comprehension.
His tone, his manner is as though he's discussing the events of a commonplace day in his life.
The horror of this...is how ordinary this man appears.
Thank g-d for the families. They have endured for so long.
Easiest thing in the world no doubt, leastwise, that's what Dennis says.
This thing is on all the channels!
Easiest thing in the world no doubt, leastwise, that's what Dennis says. (correction ~ inadvertently said "Ohio" ~ meant "Kansas")
This guy is creepy.
"Projects" as he calls him
"Yes, I call it my "Hit Kit."" ...... describing his materials he used to kill people.
This guy is a perfect example of narcissism and antisocial personality disorder.
"Projects" as he calls THEM (I don't think this should be on TV, too much detail)
