Whereas I agree that Reagan was a great American, this list also included Elvis and Oprah in the top 10. What was the comment on FOX? That this is what happens when Discovery puts Matt Lauer in charge?

An obese drug addict who died on the toilet was in the top ten? (speaking of Elvis, not Oprah)

I suppose it could really be argued that Washington and Lincoln were really the greatest Americans, but I voted for Pres. Reagan -- in part, because I wanted to piss our Liberal culture off.

This is one of the silliest exercises our too often silly nation has yet come up with.

I am relieved (actually surprised) that one of the non-greats was not selected.

As much as I love and respect Reagan, Washington was the first choice and no one else was close (IMO).
