He was. Looked like he had a few, and had a slur in his speech.

Do you have a link? I looked for a minute or two but didn't see anything.

Will hold my breath waiting for MSM to report this. Bad idea.

Another DUer. Placing blame before vote. Can't look at any more DU stuff, I just finished dinner.

Back from DU. They are losing what's left of their minds. They are claiming the voting was Freeped. Don't the idiots know that they could vote too? If you can stomach it, go check it out. I find their commentary funny and good comic relief

I must admit, I am surprised that it turned out as good as it did. Good for the voters. Once I saw the top 5, I got in and cast once for Reagan and once for Franklin.

Just took a peek over in that intellectual cesspool. They are as unhinged as ever, braying and moaning like sick cats.
LOL, one scummy DUmmy said they were "blocking" Disc. channel from all their TV's...how pathetic. Quick! Someone get a butterfly net! The DUmmies have come undone.
Has there ever been a study on "Liberalism as a chronic mental disorder"? If so, DUmmyland must be Exhibit A in the evidence column. They are sick.

I agree Washington is definitely number one.
Reagan as number two is certainly arguable, but currently it is too soon to tell. Every generation reaches its time of power-- a time when most of the senior decision making positions in companies and government tend to be held by that generation. The generation that is currently "in power" is the 60's Vietnam War generation. When the generation that grew up under and was inspired by Reagan replaces the current anti-war generation we'll see what place Reagan really deserves. Personally, I'm optimistic he'll make number two.

In my lifetime President Reagan was the Greatest President bar none. However in the History of the United states George Washington was and will always be number 1. Without him there would have been no President Reagan, nor would we have the freedoms necessary to even post on a forum like this.

Without a doubt he was one of the greatest Americans ever and certainly had my vote because I knew more about him. He had what is lacking in politicians today, determination to lead in the right paths..sure wish there were more like him.
To: quidnunc
As satisfying as the choice may be to conservatives, it bears no relationship to reality. But it doesn't matter. Reagan has been denied his rightful place and GW hasn't. No question that GW being surrounded by his men, and them telling him that it was hopeless, places his feats as the greatest of all time. But RR has been villified by the pea-brained, liberal, soccer mom, metro-sexual professors, media, teachers, hollywood stars, etc. It is time he got some credit and this poll does it.
