I'm sure Reverand Graham's "let Hillary run the country", off hand remark by Graham, was meant more as advice for Bill than a comment on Hillary.

I bet the Graham organization is furious at how this jokingly intended "stay out of politics, Bill, and work for God", comment is being touted by the media as some kind of presidential endorsement by Billy Graham.

But isn't this so typical of the Clintons and their msm friends. Using friends and foes alike to further their self-glorification. But somethow this seems sleazier.

and it reminds me of the Trent Lott comment. Lott was just trying to be nice to old Thurman, and he was crucified for it. Graham was just trying to be nice, and he gets mortified. This man of God has never and would never endorse a presidential wannabee, but that's how it's being played. The morning shows will jump on this with both feet.

Thanks for confirming my own take on it. I'll give Graham an old timer's pass even if he meant it. A story today said that although Graham associated with all Presidents, he felt closest to Nixon.
