Unfortunately, the officer acted so unprofessionally that it complicates the situation. His actions during and after the stop may result in charges being thrown out. This cop needs a stern reprimand to keep him from doing it again and jeopardizing other, possibly more important cases.

Maybe. We only have her word for it and we see how honest they are:

charges of driving with a suspended license, operating a vehicle with an improper tag and failure to have proof of insurance.

No, this case needs to be kicked immediately, and the idiot cop needs to be fired immediately. Grossly poor judgement like that means he's not entitled to a gun and badge. He needs to be working at his church or McDonalds - nothing more public-involved than that.
