Clearly Rove is a political genius. In his speech, he made no reference to individual politicians and referred only to liberals.
Fast-forward to those "offended" by his remarks and they are now self-identified liberals; a moniker they're loathe to accept in most public scenarios.
I say great job Mr. Rove!

The Democrats really wanted payback for the embarresment they suffered due to the "Sen Muhammad Turbin Incident."
They picked the wrong horse for revenge. The Democrats hissy fit is only making them look worse.

Very interesting since he [Rove] never used the words Republican or democrat. Here is the part the left is so po'ed about as posted in a thread from yesterday.
Mr. Rove, speaking to the New York State Conservative Party on Wednesday, said: "Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 and the attacks and prepared for war; liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers."
Karl Rove just undressed all the liberal Senators and Representatives with his remark. What a political genius we have on OUR side.

Are the liberals upset about Mr. Roves remarks, or are they upset because conservatives are finally speaking out and condemning their brainless remarks?

To the differences between conservatives and liberals outlined by Rove, I would add the following: Conservatives are unafraid to confront reality, while liberals are fearful and unable to recognize what is real. Paul Bloustein Cincinnati, Ohio That sums it up.
