Clearly Rove is a political genius. In his speech, he made no reference to individual politicians and referred only to liberals.
Fast-forward to those "offended" by his remarks and they are now self-identified liberals; a moniker they're loathe to accept in most public scenarios.
I say great job Mr. Rove!

Hammer those weenies, Mr. Rove!
You can always tell if you're making a difference by the enemies you make in the process.
Please keep up the great work, sir!

About time liberals were "marked" with the dreaded "L"......after all we've endured being labeled the VRWC.

I agree with you. According to Andrew Sullivan, Rove is doing this because he wants to blame the left after our defeat in Iraq.
Remind me not to read Andrew Sullivan anymore. I haven't for months but decided to take a peek this morning.
Bad move.

The Democrats really wanted payback for the embarresment they suffered due to the "Sen Muhammad Turbin Incident."
They picked the wrong horse for revenge. The Democrats hissy fit is only making them look worse.

Brilliant triple play by Karl----bigtime labeling of libs, reinforcing and prolonging the Durbin debacle and, getting the libs undies in a twist.

If Karl Rove were to say he supported homosexual rights for queer Iraqis, Andrew Sullivan would be the first to enlist in the '1st Fellatio Brigade' and would ship out the next day.
The latter stages of AIDS includes dementia, apparently time is running out for Sullivan.

It sure upset Hillary, she almost crapped in "Old Crusty".

"...after all we've endured being labeled the VRWC." Are you kidding? Hell, I consider that title to be the greatest compliment that these liberal weenies can lay on someone.

Very interesting since he [Rove] never used the words Republican or democrat. Here is the part the left is so po'ed about as posted in a thread from yesterday.
Mr. Rove, speaking to the New York State Conservative Party on Wednesday, said: "Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 and the attacks and prepared for war; liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers."
Karl Rove just undressed all the liberal Senators and Representatives with his remark. What a political genius we have on OUR side.

It's so annoying, isn't it, that it takes the dense libs so damn long to "get it"......on the other hand, it does answer a lot of questions of history.

The reaction is very telling...sometimes truth hurts.
Thought free speech belonged to every citizen...guess free speech is okay if the democrats like what one says.
Believe Mr. Rove is very truthful in what he said...he
backed it up with various samples.
My main focus when voting is always; who do I trust to keep us safe and stand up for this country...not appease every tom, dick&harry in the world...that answer is the
Republicans not the radical democratic party of appeasement.
JMO my humble opinion.

Are the liberals upset about Mr. Roves remarks, or are they upset because conservatives are finally speaking out and condemning their brainless remarks?

To the differences between conservatives and liberals outlined by Rove, I would add the following: Conservatives are unafraid to confront reality, while liberals are fearful and unable to recognize what is real. Paul Bloustein Cincinnati, Ohio That sums it up.
