Are the ALPHABET SOUP MEDIA OUTLETS Democrat Political Organizations?

For the week of June 26, 2005.

Are the Alphabet Soup media outlets Democrat Political Organizations?

Media outlets are being roundly (and rightly) criticized for bias and incompetence.  "The light is blinking red. Media crises and controversies seem to be reaching a tipping point. Dissatisfaction with the media ranges from disgust and outrage to general suspicion. This sensibility is spreading like a virus via the blogosphere, media watchdogs, and books written by media insiders."  Journalism "Systems" Go Critical, Sherrie Gossett..  Accuracy in Media, June 24, 2005.

Apparently the Internet is exposing the media machine and the American Public is waking up to the distortions of these Hollywood style production studios called "newsrooms."  The Washington Times recently ran a story showing this with the recent democrat created controversy over White House Political Strategist Karl Rove and Democratic Leader Dick Durbin.

"What the networks did was zero, zero, zero, zero on Durbin, and as soon as Rove shows up, boom," said Tim Graham, director of media analysis at the conservative Media Research Center. "To say that one deserves zero coverage and the other huge coverage is just bizarre."  Press pounces on Rove's remarks, James G. Lakely. Washington Times, June 25, 2005.

Apparently, Rove's parodies of the left being "tolerant" of the terrorists was somehow so vile, evil, and despicable that it deserved special media coverage.  While Rove's comments have considerable factual support, democrats were given lots of free media time and showcased repeatedly on various Alphabet Soup media programs to condemn Rove's comments.  Based on the media coverage of the Alphabet Soup networks, Rove's comments had to be far more inflammatory than Durbin's, or were they?  For a VERIFIABLE collection of documented comments, support, and other information that prove Rove's comments, see the RNC sourced collection of proof here.  RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman Statement On The Democrat Attacks Of Karl Rove, June 23, 2005.

A fair reading of the comments could only produce one of two results, either 1) The problems with Rove's comments were far more newsworthy than Durbin's and deserve the additional coverage and attention, and condemnation by the Alphabet Soup media, or 2) the Alphabet Soup networks are political front groups for the Democratic Party.

Let's look at the two sets of comments and see what you think:

Rove's comments that after September 11 liberals "wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers" while conservatives "prepared for war." Press pounces on Rove's remarks, James G. Lakely. Washington Times, June 25, 2005.

"If I read this to you and did not tell you that it was an FBI agent describing what Americans had done to prisoners in their control, you would most certainly believe this must have been done by Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime -- Pol Pot or others -- that had no concern for human beings."  Durbin Apologizes on Senate Floor for Nazis, Soviet Gulags Remark, Melanie Hunter.  CNSNews.com, June 21, 2005.

Let's put these comments into perspective here.  First, Rove's remarks are supported by a substantial collection of comments right from documented statements by various representatives of the democratic party.  However, various news programs and outlets have reported that the enemy combatants in Guantanamo Bay have clean clothes, clean surroundings, and are fed well.  A recent menu showed them receiving lemon-chicken and fresh vegetables.

(note:  The meal is shown for illustration purposes.  It is not suggested that the enemy combatants are receiving their meals on fine china with special presentations.  After all, they are ENEMY combatants).

In contrast, Durbin's comparison of American troops and treatment of prisoners to the National SOCIALIST (NAZI) butchers is absolutely reprehensible.

It's obvious the Alphabet Soup media has adopted the Hollywood-style political agenda--, sympathetic to gays and gay marriage, pro-abortion, big government, pro-tax and feminism while being hostile to morals and traditional values.  In more recent times, hostile to America's military by relentlessly reporting every single troop casualty while ignoring any good news about progress of the American military.

Combine this with the long-term slump in the Hollywood Box Office and America is beginning to reject the left-leaning propaganda of these Democrat outlets.  Our job as patriots, parents, people with a conscience, those with values and morals is to do everything we can to accelerate the collapse of the left.  Socialism in all its forms must DIE in America and it is our job to strangle it to death!

Every American must make it their mission to expose the Hollywood-style anti-American side of the media machine.  Expose every attempt by the leftist Alphabet Soup media outlets to filter, twist, distort, and manipulate the public message.

Every time you see a story demonstrating media bias, report it to the various outlets that track and record the bias.  List of Media Bias Resources, or to add additional media bias links.

You can also make an effort to point out blatant types of media bias such as this to all of your friends.  Or you can point your friends and relatives to alternative conservative media outlets.  Take the time and send your friends and relatives an e-mail today encouraging them to just get their news from conservative sources on the Internet.  Before long, the remaining Hollywood socialist news rooms will collapse.

Do your part today.  Step up, stand up, and take action now.  You can make a difference by simply giving everyone you know alternatives to the socialist Alphabet Soup media organizations.  By participating in this type of an e-mail campaign to your friends and relatives, you can help to make a difference in this next election as the socialist media machine campaigns for democratic candidates.

"yes. next question."

Well, de jure, no. De facto, yes. It gives'em "plausible deniability".

I am an empiricist. I thus care not a whit for de jure if it conflicts with de facto.

Yes.

Now answer this question. How many Republicans in Congress are with them?

Here's the real problem, other than the OBVIOUS RINO's (McCain, Snowe, etc.), it's difficult to say.

Based on media behavior, conservatives have likely been much harder on Republicans than they should be. For example, until the last 4 years or so, the MSM has had a virtual lock on the news and information. Therefore they set both the message and the tone. They have been the gatekeepers of everything. They could carefully squelch or even completely eradicate any real conservative issue, or any real conservative candidate's message.

Those days are gone and I believe what you will begin to see is the rise of truly conservative candidates. Candidates that have always been there but never getting the public attention to their message.
