They still have guns in that part of the country don't they???

....and since when do good Americans just stand by and let tyranny grow in our Nation???

...even the tyranny supported by the Supreme Court.

"The public good is always being served when jobs and industry are created."

Your cowardice is showing again.

This Nation is not now...nor has it ever been...about 'creating jobs and industry'. You would look forever in the effort of finding anyone who has shed blood for this nation because of 'jobs and industry'.

But you will find millions who have stood the line...for Freedom.

Try again....or maybe...just get out of the way.

I well understand civil disobedience, an important part of which is the accepting of responsibility for one's actions. There is nothing civil in throwing fish entrails at someone's home because you don't like a law they passed. That is not civil disobedience, but obedience to tantrum.

Just who will be using these private marinas?

The Mayor and his buddies, for one. Take property from private citizens and put it in his own pocket -- what a guy.

"Dallas developer Hiram Walker Royall" for another. This is all about taking from the politically powerless and giving to the (already very well-heeled) politically powerful. Wait till you see what something like Marion Barry's Kinshasa-on-the-Potomac does with this ruling.

Yeah, but since the President has been silent on the issue, and his spokesman dodged the question when pointedly asked, I don't think there's going to be much help from the White House.

I wonder why?

So what does our local congressman and resident of Freeport, Rep. Ron Paul have to say about this unconstitutional private property grab happening to his neighbors? More importantly what is he going to do about it?
