I've always joked with friends from other places that this is probably the safest neighborhood in the country...
No tornados, no earthquakes, no floods, no hurricanes, no volcanos. In actuality, we have them all except the floods, and even that isn't entirely true. You don't want to be caught in a wash in a summer thunderstorm!!!
