I've been yanking out Norton and have installed Trend Micro here at the house. Bought a 5-user license. Love it.
As BigSkyFreeper knows, I had a serious hijack problem with my machine. The folks at http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/ walked me through the cleaning process in ways I could not imagine. It took from two days of sending notes back and forth and me uploading programs, doing the scan and corrective actions and then sending them back a log, but now I am one really happy camper and my machine is really happy.
