But, but, I just heard this on the radio last night:

"City officials use the power of eminent domain very selectively and very carefully," said Indianapolis, Indiana, Mayor Bart Peterson, NLC's 2nd Vice President.

Mayor Peterson is part of the same government that instituted a special tax to pay for the Colt's stadium, paid off the stadium, continued to spend the tax money for projects unknown, and now, is pushing for a second stadium tax, even though we are still paying the first.

I trust him to apply this tyrannical Supreme Court ruling judiciously just as much as I trust him to be satisfied with two stadium taxes, and not, say, decide to reach out to the surrounding counties, not even within the city limits, to force us to pay the new tax too, about as much as I trust the wolf guarding the sheep.

This Supreme Court decision cannot stand by itself.

FR's poll shows 90+ percent responding with "Hell No".

The corrupt governments and greedy corporations either have to back down, or escalate the fight. As long as the First and Second Amendments are in place, even theoretically, the negation of the Fifth Amendment and our Constitutional right to own property cannot survive.
