"The supreme court ruled it was up to state laws to decide whether eminent domain could be used for private property. They didn't say it was ok or not ok just that it was not something within their juridiction to stop, and that it was the decision of the state court, and state laws. It's a states rights issue. Eminent domain differs in each state."


Oh, I haven't read the entire ruling but if that is the case than I would expect RED states to pass legislation limiting eminant domain.
